All students wonder how they’ll fit in at college.
Will I be the only student from my background? Will anyone understand where I’m coming from? Will my culture be represented in courses and campus activities? Whom will I turn to for support?
On this site, we’ve gathered information and resources that should help answer questions like these. The Office of Community Living and Multicultural Affairs, for example, is specially empowered to support students of different racial, ethnic, cultural, spiritual, and gender identities, and to coordinate multicultural programs and events. Goucher also has a growing number of clubs and organizations with a multicultural focus.
But we think the best way to get an idea of diversity at Goucher College is to get to know a number of different students . Their experiences provide an upfront, personal perspective of Goucher’s diversity of race, culture, identity, and expression.
