Location

Goucher College is located at 1021 Dulaney Valley Road, Baltimore, Maryland, about 8 miles north of downtown Baltimore. Please note that some conference activities, classes, and performances will take place at the Carver Center for Arts and Technology (938 York Road, Baltimore, Maryland) less than 2 miles from campus. Air

If you are planning to fly, the nearest airport is Baltimore Washington International (BWI). The airport is about a 40-45 minute drive from the campus.

From BWI to Goucher College

  • Limousine/Shuttle Services - Reservations should be made in advance to secure your mode of transportation. Most of these ticket counters are near the baggage claim on the lower level of the airport. The Super Shuttle reservation number is 1-800-258-3826 or group sales at 1-800-622-2089. The Airport Shuttle reservation number is 1-800-776-0323. Both shuttle services offer door to door service. The cost for a one way ticket from BWI to the college is approximately $25.
  • Taxi - the taxi cab stand is located just outside the baggage claim on the lower level of the airport. The cost from BWI to the college is approximately $52.

Train

All passenger trains arrive at Pennsylvania Station in downtown Baltimore. A taxi from the station to Goucher College takes approximately 20 minutes.

Driving

Motorists traveling to Goucher College are advised to take Exit 27A (Dulaney Valley Road, Route 146 South) off the Baltimore Beltway (I-695 West). The college entrance is on the left, at the first traffic signal, one-eighth of a mile from exit 27A.

Registration on campus

Registration will be held March 12th and 13th in the Rosenberg Gallery located in the Rhoda M. Dorsey College Center. Enter the college from Dulaney Valley Road, Route 146 South. After entering take the first left by the pond and an immediate right into the large parking lot. After parking, walk up the large steps of the Rhoda M. Dorsey College Center and enter Kraushaar Auditorium through the multiple double doors on your left. You are now in the Rosenberg Gallery. Please note that if you arrive after 6 p.m., the entrance gate by the pond may be closed. If this happens, continue straight through the security booth and make the next left turn. You will see the parking lot on your left and the steps of Rhoda M. Dorsey College Center on your right.

Directions from Goucher College to Carver Center for Arts and Technology

Carver Center is located at 938 York Road in Baltimore. From the entrance to the college, make a left onto Dulaney Valley Road (Route 146 South) and move immediately to the right lane. Make a right just before the first light onto Fairmount Avenue. Follow Fairmount Avenue all the way until you see the CVS at the corner on your right. You will see the entrance to Carver Center across the street.

Parking

Goucher College

Parking for ACDFA Participants is available by the Rosenberg Gallery/Kraushaar Auditorium in the Rhoda M. Dorsey Center lot (where registration will take place). Parking is also available in the Visitor Parking lots located by the Dance Studios and Athletic Facilities. From the entrance to the college, take the first left past the pond and continue to follow Campus Loop Road. Follow the signs toward the Athletic Facilities and Dance Studios. Continue until you see the Sports and Recreation Center (SRC), the largest building on your left past the tennis courts. Turn left to park in the Athletic Center Visitor Parking lot.

Carver Center for Arts and Technology

You may park anywhere in the main lot at the front entrance to the Carver Center for Arts and Technology.

*Please note that parking anywhere outside of these assigned ACDFA lots is strictly prohibited, and may result in a ticket or towing at the owner’s expense.
