A graduate of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Ariel Ilan Roth earned his doctorate at the Johns Hopkins University in 2005. He has been on the faculty at Goucher College as a visiting assistant professor since 2005. Dr. Roth teaches international relations, strategic studies, US foreign policy and international political economy. Dr. Roth also holds an adjunct appointment in the MA Program in Government at Johns Hopkins where he teaches strategic studies.

Dr. Roth's teaching and research focus on international relations theory and strategic studies.
