The purpose of The Python Club is two fold because we plan to attract two different types of students for this club. The first will be students interested in learning the Python programming language. The second group will be students who either own or have interest in pythons (the snakes). We will divide the meeting time appropriately for each section. When we discuss the programming language, presentations will be made to introduce students to this new and very useful language in the hopes that we will all gain proficiency. When we discuss the snakes, we will share pictures and video footage of pythons in the wild and discuss the different species and attributes of them.
