Public Safety Officer - Part-time opening available
Part-time position available for a public safety officer on college campus: approximately 16-24 hours per week, hours will vary from 7:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.; days of the week to be determined. Partial duties will include entry security monitoring and registering guests arriving on campus. In addition, officers shall be required to work special events, parking, and traffic control assignments. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalency plus two years general security experience, or a combination of experience and education beyond high school. Applicants should be knowledgeable in criminal and civil law and police practices, must have a valid driver's license, and successfully undergo a criminal background and driving record check, as well as a physical examination.
