Fall semester: Getting on track

Work with the Registrar’s Office and your advisor to make sure you’re on schedule to complete all the necessary courses to graduate with a degree in your major.

At the beginning of the fall semester of your senior year, you will receive a check-in packet with your "degree audit," which lists all of the general education classes you have completed — and any that appear on your Fall 2006 schedule prior to the start of classes.

Check your degree audit to see if you’ve missed any requirements, and adjust your schedule during the add/drop period. Make sure to meet with your adviser before the fall drop/add period ends to find out whether you’re missing any of the required courses.

Seniors should also complete an Undergraduate Application for Degree and submit it to the Registrars Office by the deadline on the form (early November for most people). Please note that if you do not submit your application the deadline, you will not be able to register for any further classes until it is received.
