Vision
The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology provides an interactive environment dedicated to excellence in teaching and learning for faculty, staff, and students.

Mission
The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology is the gathering point at Goucher College for collaboration and discussion of issues dealing with today’s teaching and learning challenges and opportunities. The Center provides resources to its constituents that encourage exploration of new ideas and new technologies. Center professionals provide models of innovation, collaboration, and creative solutions to learning needs.

Goals
1. Provide opportunities for individual faculty consultation
2. Promote collaboration among faculty focusing on issues of          teaching and learning
3. Create and promote models of innovative learning
4. Promote opportunities for professional development to faculty and staff
5. Encourage collaboration with other units that support teaching and learning
6. Promote online learning when appropriate
7. Develop learning resources that support creative teaching and critical learning
8. Develop the CTLT staff in order to provide appropriate services to Center constituents

Objectives
1.   Facilitate course development and enhancement workshops
2.   Create policies concerning support and usage of the Blackboard course management system
3.   Promote usage of course management tools
4.   Facilitate faculty discussion of teaching and learning
5.   Identify technical training needs for the Goucher community
6.   Provide technical training opportunities for the Goucher community
7.   Create a cadre of highly skilled student apprentices
8.   Promote and support the use of classroom instructional technologies
9.   Maintain and enhance classroom technology resources and services
10. Study issues surrounding the use of video in teaching. Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop recommendations for the use and support of video in teaching.
11. Study issues surrounding the preservation, storage, and use of digital assets at Goucher College. Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop recommendations for digital asset management solutions.
