Room Changes

The Office of Community Living must approve all room changes. Room changes will be considered only after the first 3 weeks of each semester. Space is limited, so a resident may need to examine several options.

Process

  • Students will schedule a meeting with The CLC of his/her area to discuss options.  As space is limited, not everyone can be accommodated.
  • Students will be notified of spaces on a first-come / first-serve basis.   

Students may also apply to switch roommates. To do so, all affected roommates must come to the Office of Community Living together and agree to such a move. All roommates must consent to move.

HELP IS AVAILABLE

Help is available to residents in the form of mediation services when roommate issues do arise.  Trained student staff (CA's) and professional staff (CLC's) are available to assist.  Both can be contacted through the Office of Community Living  at (410) 337-6424.
