No other program that I looked at had this combination of factors.”
Before entering the Goucher program, Tom worked in the area of conflict resolution and mediation with inner-city children. During his glide year, Tom conducted cancer research at the National Institutes of Health. While at Duke, he was a varsity swimmer and was named an ACC Scholar Athlete. Tom is currently a medical student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
