“I was looking for a program like Goucher’s: small and supportive, with a good track record. I wanted to have classmates with similar backgrounds to mine—that is, without a science background.”
Jen worked for Teach for America for several years prior to enrolling in the Goucher program. She was a research assistant in the burn unit of the Johns Hopkins Hospital after completing the program. Jen is currently completing her residency in internal medicine at Yale.
