Residence Halls

Each house is assigned a Community Assistant (CA), a student who lives in the house, functions as a peer advisor, and is the initial contact person to assist students with problems and concerns. They can direct students to appropriate professional resources both on and off-campus.

In addition, CAs organize educational and social programming in the halls, work with roommates who experience conflicts, provide documentation of policy violations, and serve as liaisons to Facilities Management Services and academic services. CAs are selected each spring through a thorough application and interview process. They go through spring training as well as two comprehensive weeks of training in August.
