If you have the commitment, motivation, and desire to become a doctor, but lack the undergraduate science prerequisites for medical school, the Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program at Goucher College is the place for you.

You will learn alongside people like you, in small classes open only to post-baccalaureate premedical students. You will receive close, personal attention and guidance from your professors, tutors, and advisors. You will be encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities for practical experience available in the Baltimore area and the linkages Goucher has developed with prominent medical schools. And in one year, you will complete the undergraduate courses necessary to pursue a career in medicine.

Goucher’s Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program is one of the oldest and best in the nation.

We’ve been developing and refining it for more than 20 years. It’s built upon Goucher’s long tradition of rigorous undergraduate science education—and the expertise of Goucher’s outstanding faculty—providing you with an intensive premedical education so thorough and strong that, for eight consecutive years, 100 percent of our graduates have been accepted into U.S. medical schools. We're also very proud that, over the past eight years, medical schools have awarded 30 merit scholarships of $100K or more to Goucher post-bacs.
