Jubilate Deo! - Goucher College Catholics
Jubilate Deo! is Goucher’s Roman Catholic student group,
designed to present opportunities for in-depth study, discovery,
discussion, and growth within the rich tradition of the Catholic
faith. The group meets once a week to pray the rosary. Key
events for Catholic students have been organized, including
discussion nights, dinner outings, and retreats. It is wonderful
to have the support of your peers, staff, faculty, and a local
parish as you set off on the college experience. All are welcome
at Jubilate Deo! events regardless of religion, as long as you
have an open heart and mind. If you are interested in
learning more about the Catholic faith, have any questions,
or just want to talk, we encourage you to contact us. Student

Revelations Gospel Choir
The Goucher Gospel Choir, “Revelations,” was founded in 1998
to establish a vehicle through which interested members of the
Goucher community could exercise their gospel music talents.
The members of Revelations are compelled to perpetuate the
doctrine of Christianity through song, irrespective of denomination
or creed. We have established the following goals: to sing
to the glory of God, to live the lives that we sing about in our
songs, to provide service to our fellow man by uplifting their
hearts through song, to promote spiritual growth, and to
contribute to a healthy and morally sound environment for this
and future generations of Goucher students. Student Contacts:

Sacred Ground
Sacred Ground is a group that gives people who like to dance
the opportunity to dedicate their movement to God. Psalm 149
is our inspiration: “Let them praise his name in festive dance!”
Whether rehearsing or performing, Sacred Ground members
see dance as a means of worshiping God, building community,
and sharing our love for Jesus. We honor God, our creator
and source of faith, by using the gift of dance to reflect God’s
goodness and beauty. Student Contact: Meghan Meros,
meghan.meros@goucher.edu
Spiritual Growth Ministries
Spiritual Growth Ministries draws souls closer to Jesus Christ
through dance, poetry, prayer, and the preaching and teaching
of the uncompromised Gospel. Because it is a para-church and
members are believers, as well as doers of the Word, the group
also ministers to the spirit of lost souls beyond the four walls of
the church. Come and have a good time in the spirit of God.
