 Goucher Bahá’í Association

The Goucher Bahá'í Association provides a forum for discussion
and an opportunity to meet people from a variety of backgrounds.
The association promotes a spirit of unity that overcomes
cultural, religious, and ideological barriers by helping people
in their search to find relationships between modern life and
spirituality.

Goucher Meditation Club

The Goucher College Meditation Club is open to all, from
beginners to experienced practitioners, and offers Buddhist
mindfulness meditation, discussion, and fellowship three times
a week. Eric Laufe '07, an experienced Buddhist practitioner,
provides regular instruction.

Goucher Christian Fellowship

Goucher Christian Fellowship (GCF) is affiliated with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, a national organization dedicated to building collegiate fellowships, developing disciples of Christ, and reaching the campus and all its ethnic diversity with the Gospel. GCF hosts weekly large group meetings, small group Bible studies, and regular prayer meetings.We welcome anyone who is interested in learning about God, exploring spirituality or growing in faith. GCF members attend a variety of churches in the area and are glad to help individuals searching for a church home.

Goucher College Catholics

Jubilate Deo! is Goucher's Roman Catholic student group,
designed to present opportunities for in-depth study, discovery,
discussion, and growth within the tradition of the Catholic faith.
Group activities often include Mass and sacraments at local
parishes. All are welcome at Jubilate Deo! events. If you are
interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, have any
questions, or just want to talk, we encourage you to contact us.

 Sacred Ground

Sacred Ground is a group that gives people who like to dance the opportunity to dedicate their movement to God. Psalm 149 is our inspiration: “Let them praise his name in festive dance!” Sacred Ground members see dance as a means of worshiping God, building community, and sharing our love for Jesus.We honor God, our creator and source of faith, by using the gift of dance to reflect God’s goodness and beauty.

Goucher Hillel

Hillel, the Jewish student organization on campus, provides
social, educational, religious, spiritual, and community service
programming to Goucher students. The full-time Hillel staff,
including a rabbi/director and an engagement (outreach)
director, is on campus to help students plan events and provide
for meaningful experiences, as well as for mentorship and
counseling. Hillel provides programs open to all students,
regardless of faith or background, including weekly Shabbat
dinners and services, classes and discussion groups, cultural
programs, opportunities to explore spirituality, Israel-related
programming, and holiday observances and celebrations.

Goucher Chabad
Chabad is a "home away from home" for the Jewish student at
Goucher. The highlight of the week is the Shabbat dinner, which
provides students with an intimate setting to eat, meet new
friends, and celebrate Shabbat in a spiritually and intellectually
stimulating ambience. Everything Chabad does at Goucher-
from its weekly Torah classes in Kabbalah/Chassidic philosophy,
Talmud, or the five Books of Moses, to social events and
holiday programming-is designed to enable students to

Quaker Meeting For Worship

Quaker Quarner is a spiritually-based community service group
that teaches, discusses, and acts upon principles of Quakerism
in order to better ourselves, our college community, and our
world.We meet weekly to plan meetings for service, fund raising,
and personal growth and will travel to a nearby meeting house
(Stony Run Friends) for Meeting forWorship. Visitors are
welcome to come learn about Quakerism.

Unitarian Universalist

Goucher College does not have a Unitarian Universalist
group at this time, but there are UU students who would like
to connect with others to start a group that could take trips to
the Towson UU congregation, as well as the Baltimore and
Washington, DC, congregations.
