The college has adopted a new Utility Cart Policy which provides rules for the safe operation of utility carts on campus and outlines maintenance and training procedures. FMS will be providing maintenance services for the carts according to procedures described in the policy. All individuals who will operate carts on campus will be required to attend a training session; such sessions will be offered every semester beginning in November 2006. Departments are also required to inspect their carts on a regular basis using the inspection procedure contained in the policy. Questions about this policy should be addressed to Calvin Gladden.
