Apple Safari Browser and CampusWeb Compatibility

Recent changes to the Goucher Website have lead to some compatibility issues between the Apple Safari web browser and CampusWeb. We are suggesting that all Mac users install and use the Firefox web browser (http://www.getfirefox.com) when accessing CampusWeb.

There are some issues with web cookies that are handled differently in the Safari browser that we are currently unable to resolve. The result of this issue is that Safari users receive the following error when attempting to access the CampusWeb system: INVALID FORM: Missing Web

We have been able to resolve this issue with several Apple compatible web browsers including Firefox http://www.getfirefox.com and Netscape http://browser.netscape.com.

Other popular browsers that work correctly include: Mozilla, Camino, and Flock.

Microsoft Explorer does not work and should not be used. Please see IT News article "Discontinued Support for Explorer on Apple Computers"
