Kathi Ferguson has been an instructor in dance for over twenty years at Goucher College and adjunct faculty for many years at Howard Community College.  Her dance training includes the Jacqueline Hepner School of Dance, The National Ballet School of Washington under Frederick Franklin, Butler University and Towson State University.  Additionally, she has credits from the Schoolcraft College in Michigan and the International section of the University of Maryland in administration areas.  Her performance credits include the Northern Ballet Theater of Michigan, Ellicott City Ballet Guild, Baltimore Ballet, and the Classical Ballet Theater of Virginia.  Mrs. Ferguson was chosen to be a part of the Ballet Galaxie Tour of Taiwan.  Currently, Ferguson is director and president of the Howard County Ballet residing in the Howard County Arts Council Building, Ellicott City, MD.  Mrs. Ferguson has published articles on dance in the Village News, Ellicot City, MD.  In 2003 Mrs. Ferguson was granted an award for Excellence in Choreography from Governor Ehrlich.
