Description: This position will involve the physical inventorying of chemicals used in the biology and chemistry labs.  This position also involves the following:
Consolidation and segregation of various chemicals in the labs and stockrooms
Compiling a list of chemicals and their quantities currently on hand
Entering the above and other data listed on the spreadsheet into the chemical invertory data base.
We would prefer somone who has successfully completed organic or bio chemistry.  Excellent computer skills are aslo required.

Description: Labyrinth Workers
The Office of Religious and Spritual Life own a large canvas labyrinth, which is available throughout each semester for meditation and reflection.  Labyrinth coordinators provide two key functions:
Lay out and removal of the labyrinth itself
Telling people about the labyrinth, answer questions, facilitating their experience.
Training for the facilitation will be provided.  What is necessay from the start is an interest in the labyrinth, a schedule that will allow for some daytime and some evening or weekend labyrinth walks.

Summer On-Campus Jobs

Description:  Summer student workers in the Admissions office will support the day to day operations of the office.  They do not currently need to be trained as tour guides or currently affiliated with the admissions office to be considered for a position.
Student workers will be expected to work 20-25 hours per week (mostly weekdays)
Student workers will be expected to lead campus tours, work at admissions front desk and complete various office tasks.
These positions are not available to graduating seniors
The start date for some of the positions is not until the middle of June
Admissions will pay summer employees an hourly wage in addition to paying their summer housing fee (with the expectation that you will show your room during tours).
Summer employees must work through the end of August (as this is our busiest month of the summer).  We work with Community Living to allow you to live on campus through the end of the summer.
If summer workers wish to take some vacation days during the summer, they are encouraged to do so during the months of June and July.  Advance notice for vacation days must be given.

Description: The Events & Conference Services Office is looking to hire students who are interested in working as Summer Program Assistants.  The Summer Programs Assistants help with all Events Office summer camps and conferences, and report to the Summer Programs Coordinator.  Job responsibilities include overseeing guest check-ins and check-outs in the residence halls, conducting room inspections for each residence hall in use, coordinating room keys and meal/id cards for groups, and organizing summer supplies and linens.  The Summer Programs Assistants will also respond to client requests, and assist the Summer Programs Coordinator with the day to day operation of programs.  Students are also required to be on call at various times throughtout the summer, must be available for weekend work, and must have use of a cell phone.  The job includes a set pay rate, on campus housing, and a meal plan.  Students need to be available to work from June 7 to August 6, 2010.  Those interested in the position should contact Ashton Nicolas, Summer Program Coordinator,
