Lily Burana Reads from "Try" The Kratz Center for Creative Writing alumnus reads from her debut novel. Lily Burana, the author of the critically acclaimed nonfiction book Strip City: A Stripper’s Farewell Journey Across America, reads from her debut novel, Try. Partially completed while Burana was taking classes through Goucher’s Kratz Center for Creative Writing, Try is the story of Daryl Heatherly, a promising young artist who returns to her hometown of Cheyenne, Wyo., and meets J.W.
