Summer Orientation

The purpose of Summer Orientation is to provide first-time, first-year students the information they need to successfully obtain classes for the fall semester, interact and connect with faculty, staff, and students, obtain departmental information related to their potential majors, and learn about student life opportunities as a Goucher student.

At orientation, students will participate in various sessions pertaining to their curricular and co-curricular lives at Goucher College.  Session topics will include:

• Academic Advising and Registration
• Loan and Financial Aid Information
• Campus Resources
• Technology
• Getting to know other students, faculty and staff

Summer orientation will provide family members of new students with resources on campus, interaction with faculty, staff and current students, and allow family members to begin the "letting go" process.  At orientation, family members and guests can participate in various sessions pertaining to understanding their students' experience at Goucher College.  These sessions include:
