Proxy Method for Off-Campus Access
- Step One:Configure the browser on your off-campus computer. Select your browser from the browser list below and follow the instructions for the particular version of your web browser. This is something you will need to do only once, and it will not affect other use of your computer.
- Step Two:Go to the library's website:http://www.goucher.edu/library
- Step Three: Select a database. A screen with the message "Web Access Management Login" at the top will appear.
Important! If you don't see this screen, something is still wrong with your browser settings, and you'll need to recheck Step One. -
Step Four: Log in. Type in your name (first name last name) and your Goucher College ID number (the number printed on the front of your ID card.). Then click the "Go to the Database" button.
If you have problems at this point, your name may need to be entered in a different form to match the way it's entered in the library's patron list. Call 410-337-6365 or 410-337-6361 to find out the proper entry for your name.
