Scheduling Rooms for Film Viewing Policy 

In order to comply with the Copyright Revision Act of 1976, library rooms may be scheduled for a group film viewing only in connection with face-to-face teaching activities, with the professor present. Viewing Media- Room Information for Faculty

Faculty can use the following rooms in the Athenaeum to show VHS tapes/DVDs in class:

  • Athenaeum 111 (not multi-standard)
  • Athenaeum 321
  • Athenaeum 322 (not multi-standard)
  • Athenaeum 426 - Pinkard (not multi-standard)

Viewing Media- Room Information for Students

Students can use the following rooms in the Athenaeum to view a VHS tape or DVD that is on reserve:

  • Athenaeum 321
  • Athenaeum 342
  • Athenaeum 435
  • For individual viewing, the library has two VCR stations on the fourth level of the stacks
  • Dubbing stations in the Information Commons
