Reserving Library Study Carrels & Lockers

Library Study Carrels

The carrels on the Quiet Floors, Stack Levels 2 and 4, are available for students to rent for the semester or academic year.  Each individually-labeled carrel is paired with a locker placed nearby in the stacks, in which the student may place signed-out library books, text books, notebooks, and other study supplies.  The rental fee is $10 for the year, $5 of which is returned to the student upon the return of our padlock key.  Carrels and lockers are available on a first come-first serve basis. 

Please note: carrel and locker sets are only available during the regular academic year, which runs from the end of August until the end of May.   

Individual Locker Rentals

If you would prefer to only rent a locker, the lockers on Stack Level 1 are available for rental by the semester and academic year, as well.  The rental fee is the same: $10 for the year, $5 of which is returned to the student upon the return of our padlock key.

Locker Rentals: Summer Session

The library carrels are not available for reserve during the summer session.  However, students who wish to rent a locker on Stack Levels 2 or 4 may do so.  The standard rental fee is the same: $10 for the summer, $5 of which is returned to the student upon the return of our padlock key. 

The Summer Rental runs from the end of May, after Commencement, until early August, after the summer classes and programs have ended.
