Student Prizes
Current Goucher students are eligible for the following prizes:
- The Applestein-Sweren Book Collecting Prize
- The Julia Rogers Research Prizes
- International Book Purchasing Program (information coming soon)
Fellowships
Fellowships are available for Goucher students, alumnae/i and visiting scholars:
- Peirce Fellowships, supported through the Peirce Center, are open to current Goucher students
- The Mears Fellowship is open to alumnae/i pursuing a career in Library and Information Science
- The Burke-Austen Scholar-in-Residence Program is offered, on a competitive basis, by Special Collections & Archives to scholars who wish to research in the Burke-Austen Collection.
Our Awards
The Library and the Athenaeum have also won several prestigious awards, including:
- The John Cotton Dana Award
- Library Journal's New Landmark Library
- A CLIR Grant to identify and catalog hidden collections
