The city of Glasgow is experiencing a renaissance that is being led by the arts.  Few cities can boast the range of public and private art galleries, including the Gallery of Modern Art, as well as theatre, opera, ballet and orchestra.  Students study at the Glasgow School of Art (GSA), one of the oldest art schools in Britain.  The program provides course work in general art and design, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture,  environmental art, visual communication, textiles, architecture, graphic design and illustration, interior design, silversmithing and jewelry, and historical and critical studies.  Students receive one-on-one instruction with a high degree of independent study and focused studio work.Students live in dorms near the school with other Scottish and international students.  For more information, please view the GSA website.  Students may attend during the fall only.
