Goucher students have unique opportunities to study abroad on Intensive Courses Abroad (ICAs) led by Goucher faculty. Many of these intensive living-learning experiences are preceded by a weekly precourse, allowing students and faculty to engage in in-depth study of the topic and region. Three-week ICAs are offered during the January break or summer (usually May-June), and usually run in alternate years. All ICAs fulfill Goucher's study abroad requirement.
