January Orientation 2014 will be held on Saturday, January 25, and Sunday, January 26.  This program is designed for students beginning their Goucher experience in Spring 2014. 

At orientation, students will participate in various sessions pertaining to their curricular and co-curricular lives at Goucher College. Session topics will include:

  • Student life at Goucher
  • Academic advising
  • Community living and commuter life
  • Campus resources
  • Technology
  • Getting to know other students, faculty, and staff

Residential first-year and transfer students will move in on Saturday, January 25, 2014.  Students should report to Heubeck Hall between 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. to receive their orientation schedule, college identification, and room keys. 

Commuter first-year and transfer students should report to Heubeck Hall on Saturday, January 25 from 3 - 4 p.m. to receive the orientation schedule and college identification. 

Orientation will begin on Saturday, January 25 at 4 p.m. with a welcome for students and their families.  At 5:30 p.m., the student portion of orientation will begin.

Orientation will continue on Sunday, January 26 beginning at 10 a.m. and concluding by 5 p.m.  Students who are invited for foreign language and music theory interviews should plan to attend those on Monday, January 27.
