LEAP

LEAP is a fun and challenging two-and-a-half-day experience designed to build relationships and the groundwork for academic and leadership success. Based on the belief that effective teams are built on a foundation of trust, a passion for the possible, and a profound compassion for others, LEAP will explore each student's potential as a leader. LEAP also offers students the opportunity to discover new aspects of themselves and to reflect on their own unique strengths and talents.

During LEAP, students will participate in activities that will help them learn more about themselves, their fellow team members, and established community leaders.  Participants will also visit a ropes course, challenging their ability to work collaboratively as a team.

Following their Early Immersion experience, all LEAP students will be assigned to a common section of Connections (the required first-year course), allowing the group to extend the bond developed during LEAP.  Participants also will be encouraged to get involved with other leadership programs throughout their four years at Goucher.

Cost of the program is $125 per student, with openings for 15 students.
