FOSTER

FOSTER is an intensive experience exploring urban systems and asset-based community development. During this three-day Early Immersion program, first-year students will explore identity, social change, and community connections.  Through storytelling, community-based experiences, and reflective discussions, students will explore issues of diversity, power, oppression, and privilege with Goucher community members and local civic professionals.

Focusing largely on gaining a greater understanding of the self, students will find opportunities to have foundational conversations to further their understanding of systems, diversity, and community.

Cost of the program is $100, with openings for 15 students.
