Summer Housing 2013

Summer Housing: Non-Summer School Students

Move in date will be June 3rd and the move out date will be August 1st. Housing will be in Sondheim House floors 1 and 2. Cost- $750.00 for a double; $800.00 for a single (extremely limited). No Prorating of the fee.


Any current Goucher student registered for the fall semester may apply for summer housing, although priority is given to those students enrolled in internships, research or those working on campus.  Those not enrolled in internships or working on campus should complete the application and turn in payment and will be considered for summer housing as space permits.  


Summer School Housing

For the four-week session from June 3rd-June 28th:  Move in is June 1st and move-out is June 29th. Summer School students will be housed in Welsh 1 suites at the rate of $500 (this fee includes housing and $100 in Gopher bucks). No Prorating of the fee. Reminders:

NO housing is available outside of these time frames because of the necessity for cleaning, damage assessment and repairs.    

The summer residence fee is due upon receipt of the application.  Fees are not prorated for shorter terms of residency.  Only those students who have paid summer housing fees in full with SAS will be considered for summer housing.   
All students who are approved for summer housing will be notified on May 10. 

If you will be participating in the Summer Research program through the science department(s), please e-mail your request to live on-campus and roommate preference.

Summer Housing Policies

Summer residents are expected to abide by the conditions of the residence hall contract, and the policies presented in Living on Campus: A Handbook for Residential Living, the Campus Handbook, and other relevant college documents. The resident's current residence hall contract is extended through the summer session. Additionally, during the intersession period, overnight guests are not permitted for security reasons. Violations of a major or minor nature could result in immediate removal from summer housing.

Students interested in applying to live in summer housing must apply by May 3rd, 2013 at 4pm.
