Articulation System for Maryland Colleges and Universities (ARTSYS)

ARTSYS is a computerized data information system created to facilitate the transfer of students from the Maryland public community colleges to University System of Maryland schools and other participating institutions.

Anne Arundel Community College (AACC)

Goucher College has established a major to major articulation agreement with AACC. This agreement provides a recommended pathway for AACC students whom are interested in receiving a bachelor of arts degree from Goucher after they have completed their AA degree from AACC.

Baltimore Student Exchange Program (BSEP)

The Baltimore Student Exchange (BSEP) Program allows qualified students at Goucher to take undergraduate courses offered at other colleges during fall and spring semesters. At the end of the semester, the student’s credits and grades from the host institution are submitted to Goucher.

Baltimore City Community College

Goucher College has established an articulation agreement which allows qualified Baltimore City Community College honors students guaranteed admissions to Goucher. Students must have completed their associate's degree or 60 credits to qualify. The application fee will be waived. All transfer students are considered for merit based aid up to $26,500. In addition to merit based aid, students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa will receive an additional financial award of $2,000, students with a completed A.A or A.S degree will be awarded $2,500, students who have completed at least 12 honors credits will be awarded $2,000.

Bard High School Early College

Goucher College has established an articulation agreement which allows qualified Bard High School Early College students guaranteed admissions to Goucher. Students must have: applied to Goucher College, as a first-year student, using the Common Application; be on track to complete the BHSEC program at the time of application to Goucher College; be on track to complete the Associates Degree and/or a minimum of 60 undergraduate credits from BHSEC at the time of application to Goucher; and have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA in the college program at the time of application to Goucher College. As a prospective student the application fee for BHSEC students will be waived. As a first-year Goucher student, admitted BHSEC students will be eligible for need-based and merit aid (for their undergraduate studies, not to exceed 8 semesters).

CCBC Honors Program


Goucher College has established an articulation agreement which allows qualified CCBC honors students guaranteed admissions to Goucher. Students must have completed their associate's degree or 60 credits to qualify. The application fee will be waived. All transfer students are considered for merit based aid up to $26,500. Goucher participates in CTY’s One Course Scholarship program sponsored by CTY’s Talent Search, conducted annually. One-course scholarships are offered to high-scoring students who live within commuting distance of the campus.

Professional Development Schools

Professional Development School Partnerships


Goucher has developed partnerships with local school systems that allow students to complete student teaching or internships in partner schools. In exchange, teachers in those systems can take courses in Goucher’s M.Ed or M.A.T programs for reduced tuition.
