    Goucher College president José Antonio Bowen will be receiving the Ernst L. Boyer Award from New American Colleges and Universities (NAC&U). The national award honors those who are making a significant contribution to American higher education. Dr. Bowen will receive the award on January 25, 2018 at the NAC&U national meeting in DC where he will also deliver a lecture entitled, "Technology, The Liberal Arts and the New Learning Economy."

    Goucher College has been included in U.S. News and World Report's 2018 college guide. Goucher, as in previous years, was included in several lists that reflect the college's core values and show how the institution continues to be a leader in the liberal arts.

I feel an overwhelming sense of pride in knowing that when our community faces these challenges, we consistently step up and accept our role as being agents of change for a better world.
