Community Reading Discussion Groups for 'The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian'

Goucher students, faculty, and staff were encouraged to read The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie over winter break and to gather with other community members this semester to discuss the book.
These discussions will be held:
Wednesday, February 1
7:30-8:30 p.m., Geen Community Center
Led by Sophia Altenor '12 and Lindsay Johnson, associate director for community-based learning and community service programs
Thursday, February 2
5:30-6:30 p.m., Heubeck Lounge
(Grab dinner from Heubeck and gather across the hall for the conversation.)
Led by Elise Burke '14 and Jessica Anya Blau, visiting professor of creative writing
Friday, February 3
2-3 p.m., Geen Community Center
Led by Liz DeCoster, user services librarian, and Barbara Snead, collection management librarian
The conversations will be informal, and no preparation is necessary to participate.
