Life After Goucher
After concentrating on molecular biology and biological chemistry at Goucher, Jason Hill has gone on to the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he is working toward a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology.
As an active member of orientation committee and house council, a campus tour guide, a chemistry lab teacher's assistant, and a founding member of the footbagging club, Jason Hill redefined the phrase "get into Goucher"--and still found time to complete a double major in biology and chemistry.
After graduation, Hill immediately enrolled in the University of Massachusetts-Amherst's Ph.D. program in molecular and cellular biology.
"I hope to eventually be involved in the fight against cancer, and I would love to teach as a college professor," says Hill. "I've even thought about coming back to Goucher to do the latter. The people I met and the experiences I had while I was there changed my life. I found myself there, and figured out who I'd like to become."
