    The Goucher College Library and The Friends of the Goucher College Library sponsor an annual research prize competition for outstanding research by Goucher students using library resources. The $250 prizes were first offered in 2004, in honor of Julia Rogers' 150th birthday. If you have produced work of which you are especially proud, please consider entering.

    Please join the Library for a talk by Joe Janes, Associate Professor and MLIS Program Chair at the University of Washington iSchool.  As part of the Athenaeum Library Series, Joe will be discussing why "Information Makes Us Human" on Monday, March 25th at 3:30 pm in the Batza Room.  This event is free and open to the public, but all attendees must reserve tickets at www.goucher.edu/tickets.

    Join the Library in celebrating the 200th Anniversary of Jane Austen's Pride & Prejudice with dancing and activities on March 7, 2013, from 7- 9 pm. Come to the Forum for an interactive demonstration of regency-era (1795-1837) dance by Choregraphie Antique, a dance troupe featuring Goucher alums. This event is free and open to the public, but all attendees must reserve tickets at www.goucher.edu/tickets.
