LECOM Articulation Agreement Summary

Goucher College now has an affiliation agreement with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). This affiliation agreement enables Goucher students to become eligible for an early acceptance to LECOM’s College of Medicine. Affiliations for early acceptance also exist with Lake Erie’s School of Dentistry and School of Pharmacy, as well. Students can apply to the early acceptance program before matriculating at Goucher, or within their first two years. The criteria for each early acceptance program are listed in the table below. Students meeting these criteria and interviewing successfully will be offered a provisional acceptance to these professional schools. The advantage to medical school applicants is that the MCAT is not required for admission, as long as the student has a combined SAT score of 1240 (M and CR) and has taken Biochemistry and Genetics. Questions regarding the linkage should be directed to the Pre-Health Advisor, Dr. George Delahunty.
