Schedule an Appointment
The QR Center hosts face-to-face 30- and 60-minute appointments with Q-tutors (Q-Appointments). Be sure to read all guidelines below before making an appointment.
Who
Q-Appointments are free, quantitative-based tutoring appointments to all currently enrolled Goucher undergraduates! If you have mathematical or quantitative content in your courses and are seeking support, Q-Appointments are available to you. Q-Tutors are Goucher undergraduates who have been trained through a rigorous pedagogical and certification-based program and course, are in good academic and judicial standing, have earned A’s and B’s in their math-based courses, and hold at least a 3.0 GPA.
What
Students may make Q-Appointments no more than two weeks in advance and must make appointments at least 24 hours in advance. Being more than 15 minutes late to a Q-Appointment forfeits that session of tutoring, and the student will be marked as missed in our system. Students who miss more than two Q-Appointments in a semester lose eligibility to make Q-Appointments. However, students may still attend drop-in Q-Tutoring. If you think you will be late, please email your tutor and QRCenter@goucher.edu.
How
To make a Q-Appointment, register for an account and book an appointment using https://goucher.mywconline.net. If you see a Q-tutor regularly at drop-in tutoring, you may book an appointment with that tutor. Students are allowed up to two one-hour long tutoring sessions per week. If a student would like to make more than two appointments in a week, please email QRCenter@goucher.edu. Please cancel on the appointment website at least 24 hours in advance or contact QRCenter@goucher.edu and your tutor in an emergency. Please bring all of your course and content supplies, such as textbook, laptop, and calculator, with you to your appointment.

Notes
Staff reserve the right to cancel tutoring sessions in cases of frequent cancellation or tardiness, by request of the tutor or the student, or under other extenuating circumstances.
