Daniel Swann is a 2017 PhD graduate from the University of Maryland sociology department. A Prince George's county native, he double majored in sociology and philosophy at Rutgers University before pursuing his graduate studies at UMD. Academic interests include race, atheism and religion, political sociology, and social psychology. He is an avid sports fan and coaches his son's youth team. Dr. Swann is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology (PPM) at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, and has taught over 30 credit hours for the University of Maryland-College Park.
