Jeanne-Rachel Leroux is Visiting Instructor of French at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland. She completed her master’s degree , with a specialization in teaching French as foreign language through theatre, in 2013 at Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales and Université Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris. She has a B.A. in both English and Japanese. Prior to her arrival at Goucher in 2013, she taught international university students in various languages schools in Paris. She also taught in public high-schools in Yokohama, Japan, for the Japan Exchange Program, from 2010 to 2012. At Goucher College, she teaches French 100-level and 200-level courses. She also co-directs the Language House program, a living-learning community on campus, as faculty-in-residence.
