Profile of the Class of 2009-2010
There are 30 students in the Class of 2009-2010, represented by 24 different undergraduate majors, with the most popular being psychology, followed by English and history. Other majors include art history, Jazz Studies, geography, public policy, theater, Spanish, religion, anthropology, and philosophy. The average age is 25, as is the median, and students have degrees from 24 different colleges. Eight post-bacs have graduate degrees, in fields ranging from African Studies to communication disorders to public health. As in previous years, many of our students have had experience abroad, with three former Peace Corps volunteers, and six others who have lived in the developing world. Closer to home, we have two professional musicians, a nationally-ranked figure skater, a producer with NPR, and an audiologist. Other careers represented include law, accounting, global health research, investment banking, social work, healthcare policy, and non-profit/NGO work..
