Alan served as a community health educator for the Peace Corps in Nicaragua before entering our program. He has a long-standing interest in issues of world hunger; he spent a summer in Guatemala as a nutrition educator, and founded a campus organization raising awareness and funds. Alan is enrolled at Tulane University School of Medicine.
