M.A. in Management Curriculum

Academic Requirements

Courses are conducted both online and in a low-residency format face-to-face, reaching an international audience and allowing you to work and pursue the degree regardless of your location. In addition, our low-residency sessions will provide face-to-face interaction and fieldwork with faculty and other students in the program twice a year in January and late July.

Students build a portfolio of work that draws on their management courses as well as from their choice of coursework from Goucher's other professional master's degree programs, including cultural sustainability, digital arts, or environmental studies.

Management Required Courses (22.5 credits)

Electives (16.5 credits)

Of the 16.5 credits of electives required, a minimum of nine credits should come from outside the management curriculum, including courses from Goucher’s graduate programs in cultural sustainability, digital arts, or environmental studies.

Management Elective Courses (7.5 credits)

Non-Management Elective Courses (9 credits)

NOTE: Students will work with their advisors to select the appropriate set of courses and will need to secure instructor approval to register for non-PMGT courses.
