Colorado Preservation, Inc. Names Jim Hare (MAHP '01) Executive Director

James (Jim) Hare will become the executive director of Colorado Preservation, Inc. May 1. Prior to joining CPI, Jim was the director of Cornerstones Community Partnerships, a nationally recognized historic preservation organization serving New Mexico, Southern Colorado, West Texas and the Greater Southwest. In Santa Fe, Jim also served as an architectural historian with the New Mexico Historic Preservation Division.

A native of Denver, Jim has also worked for the Historic Charleston Foundation in Charleston, South Carolina as manager of its conservation assessments program, and for the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Drayton Hall property, where he managed a regional “smart” growth initiative known as the Ashley River Conservation Coalition.
