Meet us in Miami
Release date: January 07, 2014
Want to strengthen your future in Arts Administration? Want to learn from national arts leaders in a low-residency program?
Want to keep your job while you earn your MA?
Ramona Baker, director of the Master of Arts in Arts Administration (MAAA) at Goucher College, will be in Miami, Florida, on Thursday and Friday, January 30 and 31. She is eager to talk with anyone who might be considering a graduate program in arts administration. The MAAA at Goucher is a low-residency program offering students the opportunity to earn their masters degree while continuing to work full-time. The MAAA has nationally-known faculty who also work in the arts themselves, and an exceptional student /faculty ratio of almost 2 to 1.
Founded in 1998, the low-residency program is based on the executive MBA model. Students, faculty, and guest speakers come together on campus for 10 days each year, and then work throughout the year via WebEx, Skype, discussion boards, etc. The program was developed to give working professional access to arts leaders all over the country and to allow students the opportunity to learn and earn their degrees while working full-time, anywhere in the world - backstage, in a museum, a theatre company, home, or an office. Examine the MAAA faculty and course offerings as well as applications, deadlines and other information at goucher.edu/maaa.
