Reading Instruction

These 12 credits meet requirements for the Reading Teacher endorsement for teachers who have MSDE certification. These credits can count toward completing the Goucher Professional Development Certificate or for those needing to earn the master's degree, they can be counted toward the Goucher M.ED. in Reading Instruction. The M.ED. and the Certificate in Reading are MSDE-approved programs for Reading Specialist certification.

Tuition

  • The cost for participation is $930 per 3-credit course, and students may be eligible for tuition reimbursement through Maryland school systems or non-public schools with tuition reimbursement programs. Talk to your human resources representative for more specific information about your eligibility for tuition reimbursement.
  • Included in the cost is a nonrefundable $180 registration fee per 3-credit course.
