Classes meet at Goucher College

These 12 graduate credits meet requirements for the Reading Teacher endorsement for teachers who have MSDE certification as a teacher.  These credits can count toward completing the Goucher Professional Development Certificate or for those needing to earn the master's degree, they can be counted toward the Goucher M.Ed. in Reading Instruction.  The M.Ed. and the Certificate in Reading are MSDE-approved programs for Reading Specialist certification.

Where will classes be held? All classes should be held at Goucher College.

How much will the courses cost? The cost for participation is $250 per credit, and students may be eligible for tuition reimbursement through Maryland school systems or non-public schools with tuition reimbursement programs.  Talk to your human resources representative for more specific information about your eligibility for tuition reimbursement.  There will also be a non-refundable $60 registration fee per credit. 


What do I do if I am interested? This cohort is available to the first 20 teachers to apply and be accepted.  To apply, complete the attached cohort application/registration form and return it to the address below with a copy of your conditional teacher certification.
