Procedures Timeline

September October	If you are applying for financial aid for the first time at Goucher College complete a CSS PROFILE online. Be sure to indicate Goucher's school code 5257.
November December	Early Decision candidates should complete the CSS Profile by December 1st.
January February	Complete the FAFSA and CSS Profile Application (applicants applying for need-based aid) online early enough to meet the February 1st priority deadline. Goucher's school code for the FAFSA is 002073. If actual tax information will not be available by February 1st, estimate as accurately as possible. Corrections can be made later. It is important that these forms are RECEIVED by February 1st.	Both the FAFSA and CSS Profiles MUST be RECEIVED by the processors by February 1st!
February March	Students who are selected for verification should check FASTS at www.goucher.edu/FASTS to see what documents are required along with Dependent or Independent Verification Worksheet (available on forms).
March April	Newly admitted students who submit all financial aid documents no later than February 1 will receive information regarding financial assistance beginning in late February. Students qualifying for aid from the college who intend to enroll at Goucher are required to accept their award(s) on FASTS by May 1. Those who do not qualify for aid are encouraged to contact Student Administrative Services to discuss financing options such as payment plans and/or low-interest loans or visit www.goucher.edu/billing/payment-options. Returning undergraduate and graduate students should file their CSS Profile and FAFSA by April 15th.	Maryland residents must file FAFSA by March 1st to be eligible for state grants and scholarships
