Naming Opportunities

Loop Road Entrance Plaza - connected to the Hoffberger building, this lovely new entryway to the academic quad features full handicapped access and a beautiful view of campus foliage

Academic Quad Entrance Plaza - the original entrance to the building, this connects to the Meisner walkway and leads to the other academic buildings

Main Level Lobby - this new gathering space will showcase the original marble staircase and the high ceiling

Academic Center for Excellence (ACE) - located on the second level, this new location for ACE will feature testing rooms and a multipurpose room

Ground Level Lobby - this will be a lively gathering space and waiting area for students and visitors

Van Meter Connector - this entrance will allow for easy movement between buildings

International Commons - located near the language departments, this commons will provide opportunities to recognize Goucher's many global connections

Physics Research Laboratories - approximately a dozen labs will be located here, allowing students and faculty additional research opportunities

Teaching Lecture Halls - these classrooms will feature state-of-the-art technology advances

Faculty Research Laboratories - about 15 labs will enable students to partner with faculty on groundbreaking research projects

Classroom - this will be an intimate setting where students in smaller classes can share and learn

Faculty Offices - the building will house about 70 faculty offices, enabling more one-on-one consulting and advising opportunities for students.
