Lifeguards- Maryland Athletic Club (MAC) Harbor East- 5/3/13
We are looking for guards interested a part-time position that will start in late May or June (This is not a seasonal position). Lifeguards at the MAC are responsible for safety in all aquatic zones, completing proper water testing and assigned tasks, and ensuring a remarkable experience for all members and guests visiting the facility. All MAC team members expected to help club with its overall mission. Applicants must be: -currently certified in Life Saving and CPR/AED -have previous guarding experience -detail oriented -outgoing -invested in bettering their own fitness and wellness Early morning and weekend availability a plus. We are planning to expand this network by about 3 new iMacs inthe near future; 2 of these will serve our library as digital card catalogs and reference computers. We also maintain our own website: www.broadmeadRA.org. In addition, we would like to begin planning for an intranet for the entire campus. The campus already has fiber to each group of apartments but this is currently unused. We are looking for a knowledgeable computer science student to assist with the current management of this network,confer in plans for its expansion, make suggestion on how we can better integrate our existing system with a campus wide intranet and recommend equipment which will be needed to implement these improvements. This person would also serve as back-up to the resident administrator by answering questions via phone or in person and trouble shooting problems when the resident administrator in unavailable. Children's Worship Leader- 3/4/2013
The Episcopal Cathedral of the Incarnation (4 E. University Parkway Baltimore, MD 21218) is looking for someone to lead a time of children's worship for children ages 3-12 most Sunday mornings from 10-10:30am. Local Farm Help- 2/22/2103
We are a local farm, about 15 to 20 minutes from Goucher (just off Hunt Valley/I83 exit). We are looking for someone to help get our polo ponies started for the summer. We like to begin their work in early March with grooming/shedding and twenty minute walks. By April they should be doing 35 minutes with trots sets and by May- full workouts with walk/trot/canter/hills etc. There are 8 polo ponies to get started, so the job requires three or four two horse sets, four days a week. The horses are well mannered and rewarding to work with. We also have six fox hunters, so there are possiblities to ride them as well as our current exercise help may be getting a full time job in nursing.
This is a nice setting, with open land all around. We have experience with student workers having hosted several International students during the summer months. This job begins early March and could end in late May once our children return from college. Baltimore Orioles Ballgirls and Ballboys tryouts-3/9
The Orioles have announced they will conduct an open tryout to find ballgirls and ballboys for the 2013 season at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Saturday, March 9th. The judges will include members of the Orioles' front office, MASN broadcaster Jim Hunter and former Orioles catcher Chris Hoiles, as well as Regan Warfield of MIX 106.5 and Greg Carpenter of LITE 101.9. Outgoing and athletic men and women ages 18 and older who are interested in serving as ballboys and ballgirls for the Orioles during the upcoming 2013 season are invited to try out for a position at Orioles Park beginning at noon on March 9. Those interested should dress casually, bring their own gloves, and use the Home Plate Plaza entrance to Oriole Park on the southwest corner of the ballpark. Resumes are also recommended. Complimentary parking will be available in Lot A. In addition to being able to handle a glove and field ground balls, interested candidates should be personable, customer-service oriented and available to work the entire 2013 season.

Kol HaLev- Reconstructionist Synagogue of Baltimore- 2/1/13
Kol HaLev is searching for a Lead Teacher and several assistant teachers for its growing "Beit Lev" Sunday school. Beit Lev classes are held twice monthly on Sundays from 10-12:30. Because we meet only twice a month, all positions are part-time. Each teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing and implementing activities for an assigned class of school children. In addition, the Lead Teacher will work with parents to develop and implement a developmentally based educational program to meet the emotional, physical, cognitive and social needs of the children. The Lead Teacher will also be responsible for working with other staff members to coordinate classroom activities and form a positive, supportive team atmosphere.
