Assist with the development and/or delivery of a variety of HealthFitness and program-specific health improvements programs & promotions. Participate in membership drives to acquire new members; enroll new participants and conduct facility, program and equipment orientations. Promote program offerings and conduct outreach activities to increase participation and re-engage inactive members. Create and maintain bulletin boards, newsletters and other marketing & communication materials. Maintain participant files and database. Perform facility maintenance responsibiliites; ensure facility; equipment and locker rooms are clean and stocked at all times. Ensure personal and facility appearance meet standards. Projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology or related discipline required; completion of internship program preferred. Current CPR, AED and First Aid certification required. Recognized industry certification in Group Exercise and Personal Training strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others. Proficiency in fitness assessment and exercise precription. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel and Outlook, Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands, Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative and creativity.

Duties: HealthFitness has a new opportunity for a part-time temporary (1-2 hours per week for 3 months) Group Class Instructor at our client site in Sparks, MD!
