You’d think graduating from college would be as easy as showing up in your cap and gown and marching down the aisle. Before you actually walk that walk, however, you need to make sure everything’s in order, starting right at the beginning of your senior year.
Before you can graduate, you must have:
- earned a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00;
- passed each required course in your major, minor, or concentration with a grade of C- or above (or P if the course is Pass/No Pass); and
- completed a minimum of 120 credits, with a minimum of 60 of those credit hours at Goucher.
(Ordinarily, the last 12 credit hours must be completed at Goucher; you must petition the associate dean for undergraduate studies to waive this requirement. Please note that inter-institutional courses and Goucher study-abroad programs are considered the same as Goucher courses and are averaged into the GPA.)
