You're a Goucher graduate, and your connection to your Gopher home never has to end! The CDO is one way to stay connected to Goucher- whether you are seeking a job, applying to graduate school, or ready to offer advice and support to the next generation of Goucher students.

Below are some ways that you can connect with the CDO based on where you are in your own professional journey.

How the CDO can assist you.

The CDO is pleased to assist alumnae/i in a variety of ways. Depending on where you are in your career journey, we can help you to discover the resources best suited to supporting you in your job search, graduate school preparation, and much more. We welcome you to schedule an appointment(in person, phone, or skype) by calling 410-337-6191 or emailing career@goucher.edu.

If you are looking for resources specific to your undergraduate major or industry, take a moment to review our Major Pages. In addition, the CDO welcomes you to utilize the TalentMarks webinars which provide services for those at all levels of their job search.

Lastly, our office can also assist you in connecting with other alumnae/i for your own career benefit. We can work with you to teach you about ways to reach out to fellow alumnae/i for purposes of informational interviews, company information, etc. Check out the Goucher Professional Network as a first step!

How you can assist Goucher students and fellow alumnae/i.

The CDO appreciates the opportunity to work with alumnae/I in order to enhance our services and events. Goucher students want to hear from YOU, they always appreciate learning from those who have walked along Van Meter Highway just as they do now.

No matter how much time you’re able to commit, we have the right volunteer opportunity for you. Our alumnae/i assist by sitting on major specific panels, speaking during career events, posting jobs and internships for their company, supporting students and fellow alumnae/i as a mentor, and participating in informational interviews for students. If you have other ideas about how you can support Goucher students and alumnae/i by working with our office, please do not hesitate to contact Casey Miller, Assistant Director for Alumnae/i Career Programming.

As a starting point, we welcome you to join the Goucher Professional Network. The GPN is Goucher's online professional community, connecting alumnae/i, students, parents, faculty/staff, and friends of Goucher. Please click here for more information on the GPN, as well as setting up a LinkedIn profile.
